The oxford shirt made its debut very early on in Ralph Lauren’s designs, and since then it has solidified its status as a pillar of the Polo look. Our fabric is developed with a secret wash that gives it instant character, ease, and a heathered softness. The formula is so unique, it’s been kept in a safe for more than three decades. In addition to details that evoke its prep-school inspiration, it offers a relaxed feel that produces what we call the perfect “rumple.” Today, Mr. Lauren continues to create countless variations of his iconic shirt, including this version that is embroidered with our beloved mascot, the Polo Bear.
- Classic Fit: Cut fuller through the chest, waist, and sleeve, with a lower armhole.
- Size medium has a 31.5" back body length, an 18.25" shoulder, a 46" chest, and a 34.5" sleeve length. Sleeve length is taken from the center back of the neck.
- Button-down collar. Buttoned placket. Long sleeves with buttoned barrel cuffs.
- Left chest patch pocket. Polo Bear embroidered at the pocket.
- Split back yoke with a box pleat ensures a comfortable fit and a greater range of motion.
