This card is hand-signed by the late Ken Nightingall, a British sound engineer who worked as a boom operator on A New Hope. More popularly, Nightingall is known throughout the Star Wars fandom as Pink Shorts Boom Guy after an image, taken during the filming of the Tatooine scenes, was published on Reddit. Nightingall can clearly be seen holding a boom mic while wearing only a pair of pink shorts amidst the crowd of film crew in ordinary dress. If that's not enough to warrant this card being a permanent piece of Star Wars history, this writer doesn't know what is. This hand-signed card is authenticated by Beckett and graded 10 for its pristine, clearly visible autograph.
