WHAT IT IS: Light stands can be difficult to travel with and are usually heavy and bulky. Ilios Lighting set out to find a way to reduce the weight without sacrificing stability. WHAT IT DOES: This light stand weighs just over 1.5 pounds or about 1/2 the weight of competitive stands. The legs fold inward, shortening the collapsed length to only 18". Rubber tips on the legs help add stability and won't scratch wood flooring. Extends up to 5.5 feet.
