The Train 89 modernizes Polo’s classic ’70s-inspired running sneaker with contemporary design elements like a TPU heel insert and a substantial sole. Crafted with suede and oxford, it features leather side stripes embossed with Ralph Lauren’s signature Pony.
- Rounded toe.
- Lace-up front.
- Padded mesh insole. TPU-reinforced heel. Leather heel tab and side stripes.
- Signature Pony woven label at the tongue and embossed at the side. “Polo” debossed at the heel.
- Mesh lining. Eyestay lined with faux leather.
- EVA midsole. Treaded rubber outsole.
- Upper: suede, leather, polyester, nylon. Lining: polyester, elastane, polyurethane.
