Upcrafted Soft Tabby Messenger

Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Soft Tabby Messenger is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.Reimagined by Eunice Chang with a hypnotic op-art graphic motif on the flap inspired by vintage surfboards, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Jose Reyna, Fernando Gutierrez and Yngrid Pichardo Baez incorporated an animated geometric remnant on the flap finished with edge binding in coordinating green leather, repaired the edgestain on back, replaced the magnetic closure, D-rings, the zipper pull on back pocket and the dogleashes on short and long straps, then added a playful repurposed charm. Crafted in a mix of our Signature leather, soft polished pebble leather and smooth leather, our versatile Tabby Messenger is a modern take on an archival 1970s Coach design. Finished with our Signature hardware, the structured bag has interior multifunction pockets for easy organization and an outside pocket to keep essentials close at hand. Attach the lightweight webbing strap to wear on the shoulder or crossbody.
